Pony of the Month!

April's pony of the month goes to.......*drumroll*....... BUBBLES!!!! Congrats to the mother of Puff's Magic Dragon! Bubbles has been selected to be Pony of the Month because she has a lot to deal with. She has a feisty young colt to care for and that's a big roll for a little pony! We admire her courage and bravery to protect her foal no matter what. Even when times get tough for her, we know that Bubbles will never give up and will keep striving to get to the top of the mountain! Congratulations Bubbles!!!

Monthly Update on Bubbles and Puff

Puff's Magic Dragon is 6 weeks old today!! He's getting SOOO big and feisty! He's got an amazing personality and loves to show off to the other girls and Junior, his new neighbor. Puff ate grain for the first time on Friday! He's growing up so fast!!

WARNING! SAE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

ATTENTION ALL SCATTERED ACRES EQUESTRIANS RIDERS, WORKERS, AND PARENTS!! Today, (April 11th, 2010) A Coral snake was found in the stall in pasture 6. Coral snake's are the second most venomous snakes in the world! They can commonly be mistaken by King snakes and Garden Snakes. Coral snakes have black bodies and heads with yellow and red patterns on their bodies. They don't bite horses and people unless you pick them up but PLEASE if you see one of these snakes don't get near it go tell someone immediately! Thank you!

Update on Bubbles and Puff

Bubbles and Puff are doing great! Puff will be three weeks old this Sunday. Bubbles is slowly becoming more comfortable with humans around her baby but just like any mother she is very protective. Puff loves the attention. He's very nippy because he's teething but is the sweetest little thing.
